Jrelise Cooper

        Trelise was born in 1957. she went to Henderson High school. She always loved fashion and shopping. In her early 20s she became interested in design. From an ordinary background she became a superstar in the fashion world. Though she was famous for her dress, design , awards, and her use of fabric, she had no formal training . Nor was she ever taught how to sew. This gave her freedom to create imagination. Trelise opened her first Trelise Cooper store in 1984, in Auckland.
